This is a formative assessment where Eliana will have to read three articles, decide if they are expository or opinion writing, and then write an explanatory paragraph about two of the articles. She is not allowed to use notes.
This is the first year that I have given this assessment with three articles. It might take everyone more than one class period. I won't really know until I watch them take it tomorrow, but I will try to let you know if we need another session on Friday.
